SAN DIEGO – Firefighters quickly doused a small brush fire that ignited a palm tree behind an In-N-Out restaurant in the Lemon Grove area late Tuesday night.
The fire broke out before 11:30 p.m. behind the restaurant near Massachusetts Avenue and State Route 94. The flames spread from some brush to a palm tree.
San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded and quickly extinguished the fire before it threatened any nearby structures.
The cause is under investigation.
