A broken fire hydrant sent gallons of water into the air and flooded a part of a Costco parking lot Thursday morning.
The incident was reported shortly after 6 a.m. at the Costco location on 650 Gateway Center Drive, off Market Street and Interstate 15.
10News learned a semi-truck making a delivery accidentally knocked off the hydrant, causing a geyser and flooding in a rear parking lot.
City crews were able to shut the water off after about an hour.
There is no word on how much water spilled due to the hydrant break.
