SAN DIEGO -- A bicyclist pedaled through a stop sign at a City Heights-area Monday night and was struck by an oncoming car in City View, San Diego police said.
The 40-year-old man rode his bike into the path of an eastbound Honda Accord at the intersection of 47th Street and University Avenue and was hit around 8:45 p.m. Monday, San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said. He
suffered a broken leg in the crash.
The 54-year-old woman who had been driving the Honda was apparently uninjured.
