LOS ANGELES (KGTV) - Two of the three homeless victims attacked with a baseball bat in downtown Los Angeles died of their injuries, Los Angeles Police said Thursday.
Two people were assaulted Sunday morning in the 700 block of Wilshire Blvd. Sunday morning. A third victim was found several blocks away, officers said.
Los Angeles Police found surveillance video of the man, who they said beat his victims and robbed them before walking away. The man took his bat with him.
Officers described the man as white or Hispanic. He was wearing a blue hat, grey sweatshirt, black shorts, and bright white tennis shoes. Police said the man also had dark, bushy hair.
Anyone with information was asked to call the Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
