After a long day at the Milwaukee County Zoo, the hyenas took a much-needed bubble bath.

The bath was part of a special list of animal enrichment requests from the zookeepers to enhance animal well-being during the holiday season, called the "Giving Tree."

The Giving Tree is a Christmas tree decorated with homemade ornaments that represent each request. Visitors can choose an ornament from the tree to take home and purchase the item listed for the zoo.

Other zookeeper requests include a lava lamp for the Humboldt Penguins, a hammock for the ferrets, pasta for the primates and more.

And don't worry — the bubbles used to lather zoo animals, like the frolicking hyenas, are non-toxic and the same kind used for kids' bubble baths.

For a full list of requests, visit the Milwaukee County Zoo's website.
