Study: Getting more tattoos boosts immune system

Posted

A new study shows people with multiple tattoos may have strong immune systems.

According to the American Journal of Human Biology, getting the first tattoo makes a person's immune system weaker.

However, as a person accumulates more tattoos, his or her body becomes used to the repeated stress.

Researchers compare the actions as going to the gym, where a person usually feels bad after going the first time, but their bodies eventually get used to the stress.
