Come out to the free 'La Mesa Shimmer' holiday celebration Wednesday, November 29th beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The La Mesa Shimmer celebration is held in the downtown village and will feature live music, refreshments, and performances.

A holiday lighting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Legacy Park at the Lookout with complimentary a hot cocoa bar, coffee, and cookies.

You can browse La Mesa Blvd. from 4th Street to University Ave. for the holiday window display contest. To vote, turn in ballots at La Mesa Wine & Spirits at 8292 La Mesa Blvd.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- Jose Molina and Rob Dove – 8400 La Mesa Blvd. (5:00-7:00 p.m.)
- Sam Johnson Trio – Corner of Palm and La Mesa Blvd. (5:00-7:00 p.m.)
- Encore Choir Carolers – Various locations along La Mesa Blvd. (5:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Kerry Powell Music – 8130 La Mesa Blvd. (5:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Performances by The Dance Company - 5:00 p.m. near the Lookout and 6:00 p.m. at 8156 La Mesa Blvd.
- Santa – 8130 La Mesa Blvd. (5:30-7:30 p.m.)
