Del Mar celebrates 'Donut Day' at the races

DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) - Feel like there’s a hole in your weekend plans? Sweeten them up with an 8 a.m. wake-up call for Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s Donuts Day Saturday, July 29.

Enjoy free coffee, orange juice, and donuts!

Once the kids are successfully riding that sugar high, send them over to get their faces painted, or to watch the entertainers in Seaside Terrace area at the west end of the Grandstand.

Try not to talk with your mouth full during the question and answer session with famous jockeys and trainers.

Guests scheduled to attend the donut extravaganza include track announcer Trevor Denman, horse trainer Richard Mandella, and jockey Chantal Sutherland.
