(KGTV) - Roller coaster fans looking to go on a record-setting ride will have to visit Canada next year.

The Canada’s Wonderland amusement park in Vaughan, Ontario (about an hour outside of Toronto) is slated to open the Yukon Striker -- a thrill ride being referred to as the longest, fastest and tallest dive roller coaster in the world.

According to park officials, the Yukon Striker coaster will travel on 3,625 feet of track at 80 MPH and will feature a 90-degree, 245-foot drop. Park officials said the ride features a “hold and dive” situation that leaves riders hanging on the edge of their seats -- literally.

The ride has numerous twists and turns, as well as a quick run through an underwater tunnel.
