SAN DIEGO -- It's game day in town as the San Diego Chargers get ready to take on the Arizona Cardinals in their second preseason game at Qualcomm Stadium.
Game time is 6 p.m. and traffic around the stadium will likely be impacted, especially on Interstate 15 and Friars Road. If you commute home that way, you might think about taking an alternate route.
Traffic may also still be impacted by an ongoing death investigation on Interstate 8.
Early Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol began receiving calls about a man walking along the westbound lanes near the Interstate 805 interchange. About 10 minutes later a body was seen lying on the roadside.
The police investigation seriously impacted traffic in the area and as of 11:30 a.m., was still ongoing with some lanes remaining closed.
