SAN DIEGO – A worker died in a construction accident in downtown San Diego Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred at 16th and J streets in the East Village at 8:30 a.m., according to San Diego police. The victim died at the scene.
The circumstances of the incident and the identity of the victim were not confirmed. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating.
