IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV)--A thief targeted an Imperial Beach family twice in one night, and the final target was a gas tank.
On Sunday morning, Chayla Clay found a sliced hose in front of her Ford F-150, parked in front of her home on Dahlia Avenue.
When she saw the empty fuel gauge, she realized someone has siphoned her gas.
She had just put $40 worth of gas in her truck.
Her frustration only grew after she realized the hose came from her front yard. The thief has sliced off about 19 feet of their watering hose to siphon the fuel.
