Hundreds of South Bay kids will get to stay in their schools thanks to a recent vote. The Sweetwater School Board voted unanimously to throw out the new boundary restrictions.

Parents have been fighting this battle non-stop since January. The district changed the boundaries to ease over crowding, but it meant that entire neighborhoods were moved from one school to another.

Boundaries imposed on Eastlake and Bonita Vista Middle School and High Schools will be canceled effective immediately.
