St. Patrick's Day celebrations in San Diego

Many events are being held around San Diego County this weekend to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Check out our list of things to do:

St. Patrick’s Festival
Campland by the Bay, Pacific Beach
Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18
10 a.m.

You’ll want to bring the family to this one! Campland by the Bay’s first St. Patrick’s Festival will include Irish dancing, leprechauns, traditional food and drink and storytelling. If you go Friday, don’t forget to dress up and take part in the best-dressed leprechaun contest!

St. Patrick’s Day Tournament & Social
The Loma Club
Friday, March 17
4 p.m.

For $75 you can get lucky at The Loma Club! Team registration includes golf, two pints of Irish beer and a corned beef and cabbage dinner for two. Check in begins at 4 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. shotgun. Wear green!

Hops on the Harbor

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on a beer pairing dinner cruise featuring San Diego’s Duck Food Brewing Company. The 2.5-hour cruise has a full bar with rotating local brews and craft beer flights. After dinner includes music, dancing, prizes and giveaways.

In it’s 23 year, ShamROCK event organizers promise a night that will leave you wondering what side of the pond you’re on. More than 50,000 square feet of astroturf will be rolled out to set the scene downtown. Three stages, music all night and traditional Irish step dancers are just a few of the draws!

St. Patrick’s Day Party Cruise on Mission Bay

Celebrate the luck of the Irish on the open water, on a three-floor cruise on Mission Bay. On the cruise, you’ll enjoy entertainment by DJ Alexx Gold and DJ Statik. All night specials include Jameson and Irish Beers. Boarding starts promptly at 9: 20 p.m. - don’t be late! The cruise sets sail at 9:30 p.m. and returns to the dock at 1:30 a.m.

St. Patrick’s Family Festival - Leprechaun Palooza

The family will enjoy this one! You’ll find activities like a 180-foot zip line, Ferris wheel and flying trapeze. On top of that, there’s an exotic petting zoo, face painting and an ultimate scavenger hunt! U2 tribute band L.A. Vation and Livin’ On A Prayer will provide the beats. All ages are welcome and tickets are all inclusive. $15 for adults, $10 for children.
