Two pedestrians were hit by vehicles just miles apart from each other Saturday night in Vista.
The first incident happened at 6:28 p.m. in the 1900 block of W. Vista Way, according to San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The victim was transported to Palomar Medical Center.
Just minutes later, a second pedestrian was hit by another vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
This incident happened four miles away at 6:34 p.m. in the 900 block of E. Vista Way.
The person was also transported to Palomar Medical Center.
Both crashes are under investigation.
