A Mira Mesa woman is frantically searching for her dogs after thieves broke into their home.

Jackie Perdue hasn't stopped looking for Zoey, a lab/pit mix, and Coco Ellie, a Siberian Husky, since someone broke into their home Saturday. The thieves left their front door wide open and kicked in their back gate. They also stole a bike and some tools.

She's not sure if the burglars took her dogs or if they ran away.

"Those girls are everything to us," Perdue said.

Perdue, a digital media content creator in San Diego, filed a report with police, and has been checking constantly with local shelters and rescue groups.

Since then, she has not stopped looking. Friends helped her put up posters around their Mira Mesa neighborhood, and the dogs have their own hashtag #findzoeyandcoco trending on Twitter. Perdue has also put ads on Craigslist, and has been searching through ads looking for her dogs.

Now she's pleading with anyone who might be keeping her family apart.

"I don't care what they want like however much money they want, we'll come up with it just to get them back because those are our babies," she said through tears.

If anyone has information on Zoey and Coco, they can e-mail Jackie at jackieperdue@ymail.com.
