SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man was found dead early Monday morning in Balboa Park.
Homicide detectives were summoned after someone reported finding a body off Park Boulevard between Morley Field Drive and Zoo Place around 2:00 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. Jordan Wells said.
Park Boulevard was closed in the immediate area, according to Wells. By 5:30 a.m., southbound Park Boulevard lanes had re-opened. Northbound lanes had re-opened by 6:45 a.m.

Police told 10News reporter Jared Aarons the deceased individual is a white male of unknown age who suffered major head trauma.
