SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--More than 900 San Diego students will spell a message in the sand at South Mission Beach Friday to celebrate Kids' Ocean Day.

The spectacle will be led by volunteers from I Love A Clean San Diego from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

ILACSD will first lead students and volunteers in a large-scale beach clean-up to pick up litter, including cigarette butts and food wrappers.

This year's aerial message will spell out "Come Together."
