Pepper, a 7-year-old Domestic Short Hair, is looking for her new best friend. Since entering the shelter, Pepper has been a complete lovebug! She can be a little shy when first meeting someone, but she loves to give a quiet meow to say hello and then rub against them asking for attention.

Pepper is great with other cats and dogs of all sizes. She tends to be fairly mellow, except when ping-pong balls are around and then she turns into a playful kitten! She also loves to be brushed and get belly rubs.

Her new owners should be aware that she is FIV-positive, which just means that she may be less able to fight off infection and should be kept indoors only. With good care, FIV cats can live their normal lifespans.

Pepper is available for adoption at the San Diego Humane Society’s Oceanside Campus located at 572 Airport Road. To learn more about making her part of your family, please call 760-757-4357 or look at the San Diego Humane Society website.
