News Department: 10News offers a fast paced "hands-on" internship in the newsroom and four other related fields. Duties range from setting up stories to contacting city and government officials. Participants sometimes have an opportunity to shadow reporters. Students must be a college junior or senior and must get school credit for their internship.

All applicants must have a serious interest in broadcast journalism. Ideally, students should have some journalism experience through school coursework, previous internships or work on school newspapers/television news shows. Interns should be good communicators with excellent writing and verbal skills.

Sales/Research Department: The 10News Sales/Research Department is looking for participants who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be familiar with Excel and Power Point. Candidate will work with Nielsen overnights, create sales 1-sheets/presentations promoting ABC10 and 10News, create and maintain the program schedule and learn about the advertising aspects of television. Creative Services Department: The 10News Creative Services Department offers a "real life" internship program. It's designed with three main goals in mind: to have you leave the program with something concrete to show potential employers; to give you a sense of how to promote TV; and to have you act as support staff for the department.
