SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego police homicide detectives are investigating a man's suspicious death at a Mission Valley hotel.

A housekeeper found the 37-year-old man dead just before 11 a.m. at the Hotel Iris on Hotel Circle South, police said.

The man had trauma to his upper body, and police said the county Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

Hotel workers told police the man checked in Sunday night.
