SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - One person died Sunday night in a vehicle crash off state Route 94 in the Fairmount Park area of San Diego.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a crash that occurred at around 8 p.m. off Federal Boulevard, near Home Avenue.
CHP officials said the red compact SUV was traveling on the ramp from Interstate 805 to SR-94 when, for reasons still under investigation, it went over the side and down an embankment.
The identity of the driver was not released.
