San Diegan, Brighton Zeuner, wins Women's Skateboard Park gold

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (KGTV) - Teenager Brighton Zeuner of Encinitas, CA won gold in Women's Skateboard Park at X Games 2017.

Celebrating her 13th birthday Friday, and winning on Saturday, Brighton is the youngest competitor to win an X-Games gold medal.

Previously, Ryan Sheckler of San Clemente, CA was the youngest gold medal winner in 2003, also 13.

Among her competitors were Jordyn Barratt who placed second and Poppy Olsen in third.

Her gold winning run consisted of airs, grinds, and 360's, winning her a 88.66 score.
