San Diego County Sheriff's Department searching for North County burglars

FALLBROOK, Calif. (KGTV) - The San Diego County Sheriff's Department reached out to the public Monday to find several suspects involved in two burglaries in North County.

The first incident happened June 21 at Sullivan Middle School on West Lilac Rd. in Bonsall, said Detective Steven Ashkar.

Surveillance video shows two masked men driving onto campus in a late model gray or tan Chevrolet or GMC extended cab pickup truck with rear-hinged doors.

The men broke into two storage units and the maintenance office, taking $10,000 worth of tools, said Ashkar.

The second incident happened between 7 p.m. Thursday, June 29 and 6 a.m. Friday, June 30 at Kendall Farms on White Lilac Rd. in Fallbrook.

Ashkar said four masked men appear to have cut a lock on a gate to get onto the farm and cut the wires to the farm's alarm system.

Detectives believe the burglars stole $15,000 worth of landscaping tools and caused more than $2,000 in property damage.

If you recognize any of the burglary suspects, call the Sheriff's Department at 858-565-5200.
