SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Republican gubernatorial candidate John Cox spoke with 10News anchor Kimberly Hunt Friday about his campaign and key issues in California.

In the June primary, Cox received 32 percent of the San Diego County vote, besting Democrat Gavin Newsom’s 30 percent. Cox’s campaign received a boost when President Trump tweeted his support.

As a hopeful for governor, Cox has made it clear he’ll fight Newsom on taxes and California’s high cost of living.
