A North County woman says she fears for her dogs' lives because a neighbor is throwing bricks over the fence at them.
Misti Mowery of Escondido loves her three dogs, but she's afraid to let them in the backyard alone.
She watches them when they go out back through a glass door. Thursday, she came home from work to an upsetting scene.
“He threw that brick at her and she ran over to me," Mowery said. "I opened up the door and he heard me and ducked down and ran away and I said it's too late I’ve already seen you. Nothing."
Mowery said her neighbor has been throwing things over the fence at the dogs for years.
The neighbor told 10News he has not thrown anything over the fence, but then complained that the dogs bark.
Mowery said she reported the alleged brick-throwing to police.
