MISSION VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV)--Have you ever wondered how difficult it might be to stay on a strict diet.... in a newsroom?

Well, maybe not most of you but if you know any journalists they will tell you that the newsroom is rarely without snacks. Usually, the fattening kind.

That's what makes our next story about a 10News colleague that much more impressive!

More than a hundred athletes took to the stage Saturday night for the NPC Bodybuilding, Physique and Bikini San Diego Championships muscle contest.

Over the past several months, competitors followed an insanely strict diet and exercise plan to prepare for this bodybuilding show held at the Scottish Rite Center.

Our very own 10News producer Briley Stone competed in the women's bikini category.

That's right. Briley demonstrated superhuman restraint for months while avoiding all our chocolately snacks and delicious salty, savory smells emanating from newsroom cubicles.

10News anchors Robert Santos and Vanessa Van Hyfte were able to stop by and cheer her on. Briley took third place in her height class. We are all so proud of her! Congratulations.

Inquiring minds want to know... what will Briley indulge in first?!
