Many guests told 10News they returned to their rooms and realized their showers, sinks, and toilets weren't working, only to realize it was part of a larger problem.
Hotels began giving their guests bottled water and notified arriving guests of the situation.
Crews were able to restore water to many of the businesses affected on Hotel Circle South just before 4 p.m., but those on Hotel Circle North are still reportedly without water.
Two lanes of traffic were reopened on eastbound Interstate 8 by 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Crews were still on scene at 11:30 p.m., hoping to have the road cleared by sometime Friday morning.
