Authorities asked the public's help Friday to find a missing 75-year-old downtown resident with mental and physical ailments that could put him at risk.
The last known sighting of Gerald Eugene Wilson was at the Sanford Hotel in San Diego on Oct. 3, according to police. He left all his belongings at the Fifth Avenue inn, where he lives, and has not been seen by his doctor or his physical therapist since.
Wilson, who suffers from dementia and walks with difficulty, is a 6-foot-2-inch, roughly 200-pound white man with gray hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he wearing when he went missing, police said.
Anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts is asked to call SDPD communications at (619) 531-2000.
