SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - How much of an impact can one person have on San Diego's homeless crisis? A 10-year-old from Ocean Beach is on a mission to find out.

Phillip Tucker teamed up with Channel 933's Kramer and Geena to collect water bottles for the homeless.

They set a goal of 1,000 bottles but collected thousands more thanks to help from the community.

On Thursday Tucker delivered water bottles to the homeless, but not before the 933 team surprised him with a visit from his idol, former Chargers player Nick Hardwick.
