Crime Stoppers releases photos of Ocean Beach murder suspect

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Surveillance photographs of a man suspected of stabbing and killing a well-known street vendor in Ocean Beach were released to the public Friday in hopes of finding the man.

65-year-old Walter "Ras" Riley was killed June 22 on Bacon St.

Police say the man who stabbed Riley was white or Hispanic, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The man was seen running eastbound in the alley of 4900 Newport Ave.

Anyone who can identify the man in the photos is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.  There is a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
