(KGTV) - Chelsea Manning seems to be readjusting to life outside of prison.
Manning, who was released from military prison Wednesday, began documenting her life on the outside on Instagram. One of her first indulgences: pizza and Dom Perignon.
"Here's to freedom and a new beginning...#ChelseaIsFree," Manning posted on Instagram.
Even though Manning has only posted four times as of Thursday, she's amassed more than 32,000 followers on the social media website.
"I am looking forward to so much!" 27-year-old Manning said Wednesday in a statement issued upon her release, according to the LA Times. "Whatever is ahead of me is far more important than the past. I'm figuring things out right now — which is exciting, awkward, fun, and all new for me."
Former President Barak Obama commuted Manning's sentence in January, days before he left the White House. She spent seven years in a military prison.
Manning sued the federal government in 2014 to get hormone treatment for gender dysphoria and to be able to live as a woman. That treatment was approved in 2015.
