Places to eat and drink near the convention center during San Diego Comic-Con

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - When you're walking the streets of downtown San Diego during Comic-Con, you're almost guaranteed to work up a Hulk-like appetite.

Fear not, Comic-Con visitors: We've picked some spots that are walking distance to the Convention Center and offering unique Comic-Con themed specials.

And don't forget: If you're attending the convention, many restaurants/bars are even offering deals if you simply show your badge!

Garage Kitchen + Bar
655 4th Ave.

Special Comic-Con menu includes "All Natural Triple Fried Wonder Woman Wings," "Clark Kent Cobb" salad and "Futurama Fried Chicken Sandwich."

CrunchTime Popcorn
611 K St.

This hidden gem will have 2 all-beef hot dogs for $5 and 3 bags of CrunchTime Popcorn for $6 (choose from Caramel Bliss, Cheddar Cheese Sensation, Movie Style Butter, Better than Kettle Corn and others). Plus, the store is making its best flavors of Kim's Homemade Ice Cream fresh with "extra yumminess" just for Comic-Con.

Tajima East Village
901 E St.

For Comic-Con week, this ramen spot is serving up a bowl that's an ode to the popular Japanese anime/comic book Naruto called, well, the Naruto Ramen.

789 W. Harbor Dr.

Got a craving for tacos while you're downtown during Comic-Con? Head over to this Seaport Village spot for some Comic-Con-themed specials, including: El Heroe Taco (filet wrapped in crispy melted cheese topped with a lobster claw, chipotle crema and crispy onion strings. It's served in Puesto's signature, house-made blue corn tortilla), The Villan Taco (carne asada wrapped in crispy melted cheese, spicy pork in red chile adobo, avocado, cucumber-serrano crema, crispy onion strings and cilantro, served in Puesto's house made blue corn tortilla) and the Love Interest dessert (Mexican crema panna cotta studded with passionfruit, prickly pear, lime and blueberry gelatinas garnished with fresh fruit coulis).

Puesto also has a themed cocktail known as the El Mezcalito (Vida mescal, Guanabana, house-made tamarindo soad, lime leaf and charred orange). It's recommended with the El Heroe taco!

Pinzimini Bar

Pinzimini Bar has some food and drink specials to satisfy die-hard Con fans. The bar has some specialty cocktails for $10 such as the Hulk (with Dulce Vida tequila, green tomato juice, fresh pressed zucchini juice and cilantro jalapeno simple syrup). If you're hungry, try any of the pizza specials like the Superman (pepperoni, sausage, capicola, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and extra cheese).

Quad Ale House
868 5th Ave.

This downtown craft beer spot will have "Game of Thrones"-themed drinks during the convention. For example, the House Stark-influenced drink called the "Jon Snow Cone" includes gin, lime, simple, blue Curacao over crushed ice; the House Greyjoy drink "Theon Greyhound" has Ketel One, grapefruit and is garnished with a "gummy wiener."

Come out to one of the Gaslamp Quarter's popular food and drink spots for the Java the Hutt (Ballast Point horchata vodka, crème de cacao, Mostra cold brew coffee and cream) and stay to people watch.

Osetra Seafood & Steaks

A themed menu is being offered during Con week, featuring items such as the Captain America Cocktail, the Batman Surf & Turf (steak and lobster) and the Spider-man Scallops (pan-seared and served with soft polenta and orange reduction).

Le Parfait Paris
555 G. St.

The bakery's downtown location will have special comic book hero-themed pastries and other desserts to celebrate Comic-Con. They'll also have an adult beverage called the "Poké-Mango": Champagne with orange juice, orange sorbet, a berry and mango passionfruit macaron.

Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery
310 10th Ave.

A popular downtown destination during Comic-Con, the Tilted Kilt will have a limited-time menu just for the convention and it's Wonder Woman-themed! They'll be offering the following alcoholic drinks during the Con: Wonder Woman Punch, Lazo De Fuego (Lasso on Fire), The American Bomber, Blood of Ares and The Amazon "Smash." Youngsters will be able to order a non-alcoholic version of the Wonder Woman Punch.

Manchester Grand Hyatt

The hotel has five restaurants/bars that will have food and cocktails inspired by movies, TV shows and comic books.

-- Sally's Fish House & Bar: Order Star Wars-inspired sushi and pick them up with lightsaber chopsticks ($19.95 per pair). Guests can also order $10 cocktails named after characters such as Deadpool, Wonder Woman and The Hulk.

-- The Grand Lobby Bar: Get the Drax the Destroyer Burger (Angus beef with chorizo, bacon, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, pickled online, sliced tomato, cilantro aioli on a sundried tomato bun) & a Sam Adams Summer Ale for $18. You can get the Leeeroy! cocktail -- which consists of mango rum, pineapple juice, mango mix, Tabasco, 7Up, blueberries and cherries -- for $10.

-- Pool Bar & Grill: Fan of the "Merc with the Mouth"? Get yourself a Colossus cocktail (Rum, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, dark rum and blueberries) for $10.

-- Top of the Hyatt: The bar has a cocktail known as the Phoenix Force. The $12 drink includes Reposado, Aperol, lemon juice, cranberry juice and agave.

-- Redfield's Sports Bar: Ah, a drink even Sheldon Cooper would sip on -- The $10 Bazinga has whiskey, strawberry puree, lemonade and lemon garnish.
