Ariel Wesler joined 10News as the 4 p.m. co-anchor of "The Now" in August 2015. Ariel worked as a national correspondent for The List, which airs at 7:30 p.m. on 10News. Before that, he worked in local news as a reporter and anchor for KSBY-TV on California's Central Coast.
He began his career in the Pacific Northwest as a weekend anchor/reporter in Bend, Oregon. He was the only local television reporter in the state to cover both the Democratic and Republican national conventions in 2008.
Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Ariel graduated from the University of Southern California, where he majored in broadcast journalism and minored in theatre and American history. He loves all things aviation-related and hopes to one day get a pilot's license despite his motion sickness. In his free time, you can find Ariel hiking, exploring the local theater scene and cheering on his USC Trojans.
Ariel is a proud member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. If you've got a great story idea or just want to say hi, you can reach Ariel anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
