While prosecutors are not revealing much about their investigation into the death of 22-year-old Brittany Killgore, sources confirmed the prosecution will take a thorough look at sexual behavior involving Killgore and the woman accused in her death, Jessica Lopez.
Parked outside of the Ramada Inn in Point Loma where Lopez was arrested was a truck being driven by Lopez and owned by her roommate. Prominently displayed on the back window is a sticker that's raising questions -- the silhouette of a woman walking another woman on a leash.A quick Internet search revealed the style of sticker is known as "skin girls." While skin girls can be found online, 10News also found the images at places like Parkway Plaza in El Cajon. At one kiosk -- The Sticker Shop -- the designs are available to be turned into stickers."The skin girls are not any particular brand or company," said store manager Jeremy Sofris.Sofris told 10News skin girls are a popular form of clip art that has been tweaked and copied countless times. He said the sticker found on the truck is a version illustrating a dominatrix. He also said most of the women who use the design want it for a reason.'It's not necessarily a dream, but what they might want to do or are doing already," said Sofris.Lopez' roommate couldn't be reached for comment, but one neighbor told 10News sex parties were held at the home and both Lopez and Killgore were involved.10News went online to find out how large the local community was for sadomasochism. 10News researchers found hundreds of local entries on Craigslist for sex slavesThe topic is one prosecutors wouldn't specifically address."I will not respond to rumors or speculation in regards to this case," said San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, who added she is protecting the integrity of the case. It's a case that could lead down an unusual path, beginning with a sticker. For more on the Brittany Killgore case, click here.
