Man dead after motorcycle crashes into SUV in Rolando

SAN DIEGO - A 49 year-old man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV on Saturday.
The crash occurred just after 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of 69th and Amherst streets in Rolando, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police said the motorcyclist was going down 69th Street and collided with the SUV after he failed to stop at a stop sign at Amherst Street.
The rider died at the scene, police said. His name has not been released at this time.
Police said the SUV's driver, a woman in her 40s, was not injured.
