Harbor Police respond to false sighting of fugitive ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner

SAN DIEGO; Calif - Harbor Police, along with the US Coast Guard, responded to a possible sighting of wanted ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner around 7:00 p.m Sunday.

Lt. James Jordan says a caller reported seeing a man matching Dorner’s description at the 4900 block of North Harbor dr.

Several people were evacuated and the street was closed off while police conducted a search of the area.

After looking for more than an hour police concluded that the sighting was false.

LA officials have announced a $1 million dollar reward for any information leading to Dorner’s arrest.
