SAN DIEGO - 10News has obtained Mayor Bob Filner's divorce records from two previous marriages. This, as his former fiancée chose to break her silence about what ended their relationship.
Long before Bronwyn Ingram, two ex-wives also parted ways with Filner.
10News was hoping to talk to his first ex-wife, Barbara, on Monday evening but she declined to comment.
In their divorce records, she wrote, "Irreconcilable differences have arisen which have caused the irremediable breakdown of my marriage to the respondent. The passage of time and/or marriage counseling would not resolve our differences."
His second ex-wife, Jane, also declined to comment. However, their court records show she and Filner did try mediation and it did not work.
Ingram, Filner's ex-fiancée, spoke with 10News' news partners at KPBS and I-Newsource, revealing personal details about her life with him recently.
She said, "Bob recently began texting other women sexually explicit messages and setting up dates while in my presence and within my line of vision."
Ingram also shared that her breaking point happened in one of the most romantic places on earth.
"During our trip to Paris, he screamed at me in public without provocation," she said.
Ingram said the mayor's office is paralyzed now and just in survival mode.
"The work of the people and for the people has ceased and that's why I'm urging Bob to put the best interests of the people of San Diego first and submit his resignation," she said.
