Open casting call for new Star Wars movie? Casting scouts look to fill roles for film

Ever wanted to be in a Disney movie, a Star Wars movie, or just get a chance to break into the entertainment biz? Well one online video submission casting call may possibly be your golden opportunity for all three!

A nationwide open casting call is being held for a "feature Disney film," for both male and female young adult characters.

According to an article on Geeksaresexy.net, there’s reason to believe the movie in question may actually be Star Wars episode VII.

The Geeks Are Sexy report reads, “Four casting calls have been released and while they remain for an “unnamed feature,” the character descriptions match those previously given for Star Wars: Episode VII!”

The female character Rachel, would be in the 17-18 age range, and she must be beautiful, smart and athletic.

The male character, Thomas, must be 19-23, also handsome, smart and athletic.

There are three in-person meet and greets with the casting director Maryellen Aviano still scheduled:

- Nov. 17: Troy, Mich.
- Nov. 22: Austin, Texas
- Nov. 24: Nashville, Tenn.
However, anyone can audition by submitting a tape online.

To enter, actresses and actors would simply chose the role they’re trying out for on opencastingcall2013.com, get the script from the website, record themselves reading for the role and upload the video to the site.
