SAN DIEGO - The 10News Pinpoint Weather Team said a dense fog advisory is in effect in coastal and valley areas Friday morning.

10News Weathercaster Robert Santos said the fog is likely to work its way inland about 5 to 15 miles before clearing out at around 9 a.m.

Santos said morning commuters will be affected by the fog, so motorists were urged to slow down and limit headlight use to low beams.

The Dense Fog Advisory runs through 9 a.m. 

Some flight delays have been reported at Lindbergh Field as a result of the fog.
