2 cups of basil leaves (remove stems and flowers) 1/2 cup of olive oil 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 4 cloves of garlic 3 tablespoons of pine nuts
OK this is kind of tricky. Place all items in a blender or food processor and turn it on. When it looks like pesto, turn it off (about 30 seconds)Use the pesto as a bread dip or on pasta. Makes me regret all those years I was growing basil and giving it away because I didn't think I liked pesto. This stuff is great!Happy gardening.Loren Nancarrow
