Hobart, Australia -- (Sports Network) - Greece's Eleni Daniilidou captured the title at the Moorilla International tennis tournament on Friday without even lifting her racquet on Day 6.The 25-year-old Daniilidou was scheduled to meet Vera Zvonareva in the hardcourt finale, but the second-seeded Russian pulled out, citing a left ankle injury. The unseeded Daniilidou claimed the first-place check of $25,650 and her fifth career singles title. The 23-year-old Zvonareva hasn't captured a singles championship since the summer of 2006. She reached just one final last year, losing to Serbian Jelena Jankovic in an Australian Open tuneup at Auckland. Daniilidou, who hadn't titled on the tour since 2006 in Seoul, beat Zvonareva in the quarterfinals of that particular tournament.
