If you think you're paying too much for your cell phone plan, but still have months left on your contract, theres's a Web site that will help you switch providers midplan.

CellTradeUSA.com matches up people who want to get out of their cell phone contracts with people who are willing to take them over.

Here's how it works. The person taking over the contract submits a credit application to the cell phone service provider. The company will make a decision based on the applicant's credit.

If approved, both the person giving up their plan and the person picking it up will have to sign transfer documents. You'll have to check with your cell phone provider to see if there are any stipulations on your plan.

The site charges $19.99 to have your phone services transferred, but there's no charge if you log on to take over someone's contract.
