Kerstin Lindquist feels blessed to be a broadcast journalist and believes "it is a privilege and a responsibility to be welcomed into your household every evening." She takes that responsibility very seriously as a member of the award-winning 10News I-Team.

Her passion is ultimately helping and serving others.

She can be seen on just about every broadcast doing everything from anchoring at the desk to reporting in the field and delivering San Diego's most accurate weather forecast.

An Orange County, Calif., native, she studied government and environmental science back east with the goal of becoming an environmental lawyer and ultimately a judge.

A twist of fate landed her as a host of a nationally syndicated show and that's when life got interesting. After spending some time in Los Angeles at KTLA, she moved to the Central Coast and became the weekend reporter for the local NBC affiliate.

In November of 2003, she made the move to the CBS/Fox station where she spent a year anchoring, reporting and producing.

Before returning to California, Kerstin was the weekend anchor, weekday weather anchor and reporter for NBC in Las Vegas.

She has also guest starred in prime time programs such as "The West Wing" playing, of course, a TV anchor. Kerstin and her husband, Daniel, love to travel and are avid sailors.

They enjoy spending time with their English Bulldogs Pumpkin and Gourdie.

Kerstin is also a fitness instructor.
