DONATE TO THE ABC10 TOY DRIVE

It’s been a tough year for everyone, but this holiday season even the smallest donation can make a major difference in a child’s life. Started 36 years ago by the late 10News weatherman “Captain” Mike Ambrose who understood the power of giving back – the 10News Toy Drive has handed out millions of toys to deserving families across San Diego. Last year over 60,000 toys were collected by generous San Diegans and went to deserving children all over the region.

This year there will be several ways to donate. Drop off at one of several locations:

Or donate at the ABC10 Jingle Bell Kroc Christmas Festival benefiting the Salvation Army: On December 16th from 4:30 – 8:00, enjoy free ice skating, Holiday Ice Show, a visit from Santa, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and games! Bring a new, unwrapped toy with a value of $5 or more to the Joan Croc center and you’ll receive one free admission to the ABC10 Jingle Bell Kroc Christmas Festival. *If you are interested in receiving toys, contact your nearest Salvation Army office to complete an intake form as soon as possible. Intake ends at the beginning of November.
