Position: Helicopter Reporter/Photographer (part-time)

Job Description: 10News (KGTV), San Diego's ABC affiliate, is seeking a part-time Helicopter Reporter to report and shoot traffic and breaking news stories live from our Helicopter. The successful candidate will operate the helicopter camera and report on traffic and other news stories live from Sky10 during our early morning newscasts (5-7am) and during our evening newscast (5pm). Essentially this position works about 4 hours per day over a split shift; 2-3 hours in the morning and 1-2 hours in the evening. This is a part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week, sometimes more during breaking news situations. This position qualifies for health, retirement and paid time-off benefits, all of which start day one of employment.

Requirements: Gyro-stabilized camera system experience required. Experience reporting live in breaking news situations required. Prior traffic reporting also required.
