Joining the 10News team in April 2009, Mitch strives to tell stories that touch the community he covers. Uncovering corruption, challenging the status quo, and digging for the truth have been trademarks in Mitch's career.An Emmy award winning journalist, Mitch started working at the NBC affiliate in Terre Haute, Indiana. A year later he moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he created and managed the CBS affiliate's investigative franchise. In Fort Wayne Mitch discovered the power of investigative journalism. He reported a series of stories exposing sex offenders living near schools, parks, and playgrounds. The series led to a statewide sex offender residency restriction.As a full time investigative reporter in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mitch led an investigation into the city's future water supply, uncovering mold floating in purified samples. The continuing coverage led to extensive testing before the new water system flowed into New Mexican's homes.
Mitch graduated with a degree in Journalism from Indiana University and is always available to talk college hoops, especially Hoosier basketball.
