San Diego State University adds 22 players on Signing Day

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State coach Rocky Long added 22 players on Wednesday, including six defensive backs and three tight ends.
Coupled with two players already enrolled, SDSU's total signing class is 24, with 12 on offense and 12 on defense.
Defensive backs signing national letters of intent were Trey Lomax of San Diego's Mira Mesa High, Kalan Montgomery and Malik Smith of Dominguez High in Compton, Joe Morrow of Hales Franciscan High in Chicago, Brandon Porter of John Curtis High in River Ridge, La., and Billy Vaughn Jr. of Dorsey High in Los Angeles.
SDSU lost three tight ends, including Gavin Escobar, who's declared for the NFL draft. Tight ends signing Wednesday were Dominique Bierria of Santa Monica College, Darryl Richardson of Armwood High in Seffner, Fla., and David Wells of Clovis North High.
