San Diego State Aztecs drop one spot in latest AP Top 25 poll; Syracuse still No. 1

The San Diego State Aztecs dropped one spot in this week's AP Top 25 college basketball poll, but the team remains in the top 10.

The Aztecs (22-2) were ranked No. 5 in last week's poll and were on a 20-game winning streak until a Feb. 11 road loss at Wyoming.

The loss, the team's first in Mountain West Conference play, caused them to drop one spot to No. 6 in this week's poll.

The Aztecs next play Tuesday at home against Utah State.

Meanwhile, Syracuse (25-0) remained No. 1 in this week's poll, followed by 23-2 Florida and unbeaten Wichita State. The Shockers, at 27-0, are the only other unbeaten Division I team in the country.

Arizona and Duke round out the top 5, followed by SDSU, Cincinnati, Kansas, Villanova and Saint Louis.
