San Diego Padres first baseman Wil Myers steals three bases in one inning

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Padres first baseman Wil Myers had himself an eventful day in the team's 3-0 win over the Phillies Wednesday.

In addition to going 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI, Myers became the first Padre to steal three bases in one inning.

After Myers' RBI single gave the Padres a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 4th, the first baseman swiped second base and third base without a throw.

Myers completed the single-inning steal cycle when he slid home during an attempted double steal. According to ESPN statisticians, Myers became just the third player in the past 20 seasons to steal three bases in a single inning.

Clayton Richard pitched a complete game shutout to give the Padres a 3-game sweep of the Phillies.
